Nicole Nehaus-Laug has been curating the Berlin BASECAMP program since 2018. The BASECAMP is o2 Telefónica's platform for digital thought and innovation, as a debate room, café and location for unique events, it is also the platform for the digital community in the heart of Berlin. She brings people from a wide variety of areas together to find solutions to the complexities of our time and to create the stage for inspiring personalities with fascinating topics in the digital world. At the beginning of 2000 Nicole founded a B2B online portal in Johannesburg, which worked closely with the South African government (Brain ThinkTank Program) and she was already able to provide impulses for digital transformation in an emerging country. Back in Germany, she worked for Bitkom and later for Deutsche Messe for many years. Among other things, she set up a new technology conference for CeBIT, which became CeBIT's flagship conference - the CeBIT Global Conferences.

She has always been involved in software development, design infrastructure and DATA/IA engineering in projects like the platform of Movistar+ and the Big Data network analysis. Recently se has been recognized as an exemplary citizen of Zaragoza for divulging science, creating local communities, and empowering women, girls and kids in science.She has been recognized as one of the 100 people creative business by Forbes.
